Community Garden
Did you know that the Sherwood Community Association (SCA) has a community garden? It is located in Sherwood Gate Park, at the Shaganappi Tr end of our beautiful community!
The garden was built entirely from scratch by a tireless and dedicated group of volunteers who donated their time, skills and resources to make our community a better place in 2017!
Currently, we have 21 raised garden beds available for individuals and families from Sherwood to rent. If you did want to be a gardener, you would be responsible for planting, weeding, managing and harvesting your own bed over the growing season.
We also have one shared plot that is planted with fruit, herbs, veggies, and edible flowers, and is shared and taken care of by neighborhood children and the current gardeners on Saturday mornings. The garden bed(plot) rent for $20/year and a SCA membership is required.
